Adams Golf was founded in 1987 by Barney Adams, who remains Chairman, CEO and President of Adams Golf. Adams Golf designs, assembles, markets and distributes premium quality, technologically innovative golf clubs. Adams Golf operates in a single segment within the golf industry (golf clubs and accessories) and offers more than one category of product within each segment.

Adams Golf principal activity is to design, assemble, market and distribute golf clubs and provide custom golf club fitting technology. Adams' products are marketed under the brand names Tight Lies GT irons and i-Woods, the Tight Lies family of fairway woods and drivers, the Tom Watson signature series of wedges and the GT Spec Putters.

The products manufactured are sold to golf course pro shops, golf retailers, and selected sporting goods retailers along with selected international distributors. The Group's products are sold around the world through a network of 30 independent distributors.

Tight Lies, the number 1 line, has what is known as an “upside down” head design. This innovative design became somewhat of a Phnom in golf and still enjoys great customer loyalty. Since 1987 hundreds of thousands of golfers still have Tight Lies in their bags.
